the views were nice, but the constant banging of doors was just horrendous. i had to SHIVER through cold evenings in my room, not the warm luxury i expected. it woudl ve been a lot better if i had received an upgrade for the inconvenience. i almost thought to give a good review, but just couldn’t.

Nice stay, but noisy nights
We had a cozy room with a nice view, but wow, the noise was a nightmare! Kids running and shouting all night, and it felt like we'd get no sleep despite the comfy bed. The bar was great, though, with friendly staff serving up tasty drinks. Maybe next time I’ll pack earplugs.

Charming, Charming, Charming
The views over Lough Swilly from the dining area were absolutely breathtaking—picture-perfect moments with every meal! I adored indulging in their local specialties during breakfast. it felt like we were truly tasting the region. The Seagrass Spa was the cherry on top, offering relaxing treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated!

The hotel boasted a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and the staff was consistently friendly and attentive during my stay. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the excellent pub grub offered on-site.
There was some off and on rumbling noise in the hotel, which was quite distracting at times.

The noise disturbances from neighboring rooms and hallway activities were particularly bothersome, leading to a disrupted sleep on both nights. There were also issues with the food temperature. the meals offered were plentiful but often lukewarm, lacking the comforting hot plates one hopes for. The lack of attention to some details in room upkeep, like uneven lighting and minor smells, left much to be desired.
